Pritzker Math

They made fun of the “New Math” when it was introduced in the 1950’s and 1960’s in the United States. The excuse for the course curriculum was the new aerospace and engineering needs transitioning from science fiction to science. They said students needed to understand why math worked and not just the memorization of predetermined arithmetic results stating that especially mathematical logic, optimization, and numerical analysis—was acknowledged for its usefulness during the war.

Unfortunate wizards who did the mathematical logic, optimization, and numerical analysis—was acknowledged during the war had learned arithmetic the old way. Teachers and parents were challenged with trying to help their kids with the new math as it was confusing and teaching instruction was not well done and less than existent. The other problem with the new math was not requiring the kids to know what two plus two was before trying to analyze why two plus two makes sense. After all, years of prior research went into the basics of arithmetic and it had already been proven.

I use the new math as an example of Pritzker Math. Governor JB Pritzker has introduced a variety of new taxes and fees in 2026 with more to come in 2027. It is know that the state of Illinois claims the balance the budget, but those claims always involve not paying something. It is well documented by various media outlets and also government record what the new taxes, fees and requirements are. Even the toll roads are on the increase radar! Pritzker and company are also targeting certain business ventures by bribing with both direct payments and fee and tax waivers.

The problem is, who pays for these waivers? Exiting businesses, especially small businesses, residential taxpayers, and anyone who is breathing. Pritzker claims that he is making it more affordable. How is it more affordable when taxes, fees, and minimum wage increases are demanded?

With Pritzker math, you give money out. Yes, subsidies. How is this more affordable? How is it that Pritzker and the Illinois Democrats make the basis of living more expensive but call it more affordable?

The media needs to press this. Illinois Democrats are the friends of border cities. The Iowa Quad Cities are much stronger than the Illinois Quad Cities. Da Bears find it more affordable to be in Hammond Indiana than Illinois.

Pritzker and the Democrats think they can subsidy their way out of this mess. What happens if the subsidies do not cover the high prices? Is this the reason Uhaul notes more moves out of Illinois than into Illinois?

Pritzker thinks he is presidential material. He rips President Trump for trying to move to Tariffs to convince countries to do the right thing. He rips Trump for knocking down the East Wing which had documented structural problems to build a new secure ballroom for the White House.
